D-Chiro-Inositol
Research has found that a deficiency of d-chiro-inositol inside the cell can impair glucose disposal. This can
cause a backup of glucose processing inside the cell and can in turn
cause a build up of glucose in the blood. It was found that some people
have a deficiency caused by impaired production of d-chiro-inositol from myo-inositol.
By supplementing with d-chiro-inositol the levels in the body can be increased and glucose disposal can return to normal levels.
